The Insert menu contains the following commands that enable you to insert elements into a chart or project.

Launches the sub-chart wizard. |

Remove All Breaks |
Removes all sub-chart breaks from the active chart. |

Up |
Navigates from a sub-chart to its parent sub‑chart. |

Line |
Selects one of the following line drawing modes: |

Horizontal or Vertical |
Adds a horizontal or vertical line. |

Diagonal |
Adds an unconstrained line. |
|
|||
Auxiliary |
Adds a line connecting any two boxes in your chart. |

Shape |
Selects one of the following shape drawing modes: |

||
Rectangle |
Adds a rectangle with squared corners. |
|
|||
Rounded Rectangle |
Adds a rectangle with rounded corners. |
|
|||
Octagon |
Adds an octagonal box. |
|
|||
Text Box |
Adds a free text object. |
|
|||
Picture |
Adds a picture. |
|
|||
Legend |
Adds a legend. |
|
|
||
Hyperlink |
Creates a hyperlink from the selected field. |

||
Comment |
Inserts a comment for the selected box. |

||
Autotext elements |
Adds an autotext element. The available autotext elements are described in Autotext Toolbar. |

|
||
Anchor |
Anchors a selected free-floating object to a selected box. Once anchored the free floating object remains positioned next to the selected box even if it is moved within the chart area. |

Unanchor |
Unanchors selected free-floating objects. |
