You can optimize the layout of your chart by selecting the branch style that optimizes the distribution of boxes on a page.
To optimize the branch styles in your chart:
1 Click the Home tab and select Optimize Branch Styles from the Styles section.
2 In the Optimize Branch Styles dialog box, select the style you want to apply to the chart.
Choose a styles from:
· Auto optimizes branch styles for the current page layout.
· Wide optimizes branch styles for a landscape layout.
· Stagger optimizes branch styles for a portrait layout.
· Compact uses a branch style to optimize space usage.
3 Select whether you want to apply this branch style to the Entire Chart or the Active sub-chart.
4 Select whether you want to override the default sort order by selecting the Override sorting option. This option can resort peers to optimize the chart layout.
5 Click OK.
